12/12/12: Venus Calling

Venus conjuncts the North Node today, drawing us to the leading evolutionary edge within us and around us. There she is pushing us to see the structures of reality that underlie every choice we make, at every moment of our lvies. What structures and which realities are we supporting? she asks.

Venus’ embrace of our evolutionary purpose today, on 12/12/12, is a stunning example of the organic unity of our cosmic home. Across our planet, 12/12/12 is reocgnized as a powerful energetic gateway for humanity–a time for a collective decision to cross the evolutionary threshold.

In every moment of her own cycle through the skies, Venus reminds of this cosmic wholeness.  Her movements calibrate with exquisite beauty to the Fibonacci series and its golden ratio, which repeats in spiraling seashells, fern fronds, fractal realities from neurons to star systems.  Over its eight-year period, her cycle traces a precise five-petaled flower in the skies over a eight-year period.

Who else but She—carrier of the Divine Feminine energy whose return to our consciousness is occurring simultaneously, as Regulus settles into Virgo—should deliver the message to us that the time has come to take the leap? And who else would she speak to us through but the voice of the great speaker of mythic truth, Jean Houston?  The passage that follows was posted on Facebook this morning by Marianne Williamson, another powerful voice for the Feminine:

‘. . . there is no question that many if not all have been wounded, in part because we have lived too much, too quickly. There has been neither time nor space to enter into the greater gifts of our nature and spirit. But look where we stand friends, with regard to the shift of perspective that is as enormous as . . . during the Italian Renaissance.  Our knowledge of our outer and inner worlds has exploded exponentially. We have recovered . . .  the world’s greatest achievements and understandings–the wisdom traditions of the East, the shamanic revelations of the indigenous people and their wise ways of working with Nature. . . .[and] we have the prodigious discoveries of the nature and uses of our brains, our hearts, and yes, even our souls.

“Perhaps it is during Renaissance eras that we may actually be seeing the Mind of the Maker determining that the times is ready for a major jump in culture and consciousness and inserting social and psychic enzymes to help effect these transitions. Key to all of this is the Renaissance of Spirit, which means a renaissance of our whole being . . . .  Entering into this exploration of becoming a Renaissance person may be the single most important thing that we can do for our time on Earth.
